OUR FOCUS & Why

We are focused on empowering rural or smaller communities via our Data Centers. The emergence of autonomous farming, automated manufacturing/printing, research analytics, interactive online education, drone management, and smart devices for business use has opened the floodgates for data centers located close to clients.

Unfortunately, data centers supporting edge computing technology are nearly all located in the world’s largest metropolitan areas and support edge applications only in those metro areas. Over the past few years, 5X Partners has focused on data centers in rural or smaller communities due to two significant marketplace changes.

1. Smaller data centers with world-class features can now be viable and profitable businesses.

2. A new era of computing, edge computing, requires that full-featured data centers be located close to the users. The edge computing demand is driven by the emergence of autonomous farming, manufacturing automation, and other technology advancements being deployed in smaller communities.

5X Partners business development executives measure the demand for data center services in each underserved smaller community. This assessment enables us to sign the initial tenants, size the data center, prepare a detailed business plan, and build, purchase, and upgrade a data center fitted to the community.
